Parks of Moscow

Moscow is a very beautiful city full of parks where citizens and guests of the capital can spend their free time. When you go on Moscow tours you should check them out.

Izmailovsky Park has an old history. In ancient times there was a countryside royal estate with hunting grounds. Russian tsar Peter the Great spent his childhood there. Traveling to Siberia

The monasteries of Valaam Island

Valaam Island is one the most beautiful Islands of Russia. It is famous for numerous historical and cultural monuments.

Christianity spread on this island in the 10th century, so beginning from that time many monasteries and churches were built on the Valaam Island. During the centuries, many attacks were made on the monasteries of the island, especially on the Monastery of Transfiguration.

Russian literature

Russian culture during the time of Peter the Great
